SBB and Keystone-SDA: Partners on the same track

SBB has relied on Keystone-SDA’s visual expertise for many years to take it on the journey from conceptualisation to finished campaign product. This is also the case with the Swiss Federal Railways’ latest online campaign which advertises a new competition on various forms of media.

Accompaniment from planning to implementation

All the way from location scouting, selecting the right model, stylist and make-up artist, to the realisation on set ... and on to the final picture selection: Keystone SDA’s Assignment team accompanied the process every step of the way. 

 

Many decisions were made in close consultation with the client beforehand and the image concept was aligned ideally with the wider campaign.

There was another challenge, too: the final images have to work across different media – from mini-format on social media, to the large billboard which is prominent at railway stations throughout Switzerland.

'The day of the shoot is very exciting – but the work starts a long time before that for us', says Svenja Summermatter, Assignment Manager at Keystone-SDA. 

 

'For the image to work, we have to get every detail right ... and the only thing we can't control is the weather.' So the shoot had to wait for the right lighting and weather conditions before Christian Beutler, an experienced photographer working for Keystone-SDA, could bring the precise points discussed beforehand to fruition on set.

 

This was an exciting commission with extensive reach – and benefits for both parties.
