Sustainability

Keystone-SDA's historical roots trace back to the founding of the Swiss Dispatch Agency in 1894. Over 130 years later, the agency remains a central news source in Switzerland's media landscape. Our goal is to adapt Keystone-SDA to changing environments and evolving customer needs, creating a long-term foundation to continue providing journalistic basic coverage in three languages across all regions of Switzerland. This long-term economic perspective forms the basis for sustainable business operations. At the same time, we take responsibility toward society and the environment, with our core mission at the forefront. Journalism - particularly basic coverage provided by Keystone-SDA as Switzerland's national news agency - fulfills an important role in society.

« Fact-based, independent information forms the foundation of individual opinion formation, enables political participation, and supports societal exchange and cohesion. »
